Happy New Year! I hope you all had a safe and wonderful holiday! We spent 9 days with family in Southern ON and the balance of the school holiday at home. Boys are back to school tomorrow. We had the best of both worlds this year. It was stormy and icy and snowy and mostly extremely COLD for several days, but wonderful! I plan to share some photos and highlights soon.
In the meantime...
I spent the last morning of my holidays creating a layout about me - gasp! This does not happen often, but I really wanted to play along at Lynn's new challenge blog "Challenge YOUrself". The first challenge is to create a layout using a self-portrait and list a minimum of 3 random facts about you. I began with a list of things I do and went from there - it kinda morphed into this fun collage style list of words. It was so FUN to create - using lots and lots of stickers, rub ons and bits and bobs from my stash!
I would also like to share over at Shopping our Stash since I was working hard to diminish the stash. The current challenge there is to use up the last of something. The papers that my photo is matted on were from my scrap bin and thus the last of the paper. The burlap "holding" my photo down was also the last of a hunk of it that had taken up residence on my scrap table awhile back. In case you are wondering, the chinese symbol means LOVE.
Shanna :)
