For this project, I did some "upcycling" and stamped on a large piece of brown paper packing that was used as "stuffing" in a package we rec'd recently. I just couldn't throw it out, I'll bet there was three yards of it!!! Once stamped with some leaf images and tied up with twine, fall leaves and a bit of (also upcycled) ribbon that came from a tag, I think it made for lovely gift packaging. :)
I have LOTS more of this brown paper and you can guess how I'll be wrapping my Christmas gifts......
And here is a better shot of the card. I dove into my stash of fabric and had some fun with these vibrant autumn colours. Still using that wooden button stash I acquired a couple years ago at a quilt shop.

I love this idea! I just wrapped a wedding gift in brown paper with some paper roses and a ribbon. I just can't bear to throw away all the great packaging either! Super cute card!
