The Charity we have chosen this year is the Northern Cancer Fund – Chemotherapy - Leukemia in Honour of Patty LeClair.

Patty is Donna’s Aunt and in May she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is a fighter with a very positive attitude, just like our dear friend Ellena.

At the party you will have the opportunity to make two Christmas cards, one with Stampin’ Up’s demonstrator Jennifer Pearson and one with Close to my Heart’s Consultant Shanna Cameron Picard.

Bring a Twoonie and create a “Sweet” make and take with Amy Digby (All the proceeds will be going to the Charity).

For every $50 (before shipping and taxes) with both companies combined you will receive a ballot for a special $50 prize package.

You may earn free shipping with each company by spending $100 or more (before shipping and taxes) from each consultant. Shanna and Jennifer are offering this special promotion as part of their charitable donation to the event.

After crafting your Christmas cards and “Sweet” make and take, join us for our Yard Sale with a Twist. Bring your cash and bid on our fabulous bundles of card making and scrapbooking supplies to raise money for the Nothern Cancer Fund – Chemotherapy - Leukemia in Honour of Patty LeClair.

Although Donna has always been the “Hostess” for our Pajama parties, she has always donated the hostess rewards to benefit the charity. Many of you know that Donna has had a really tough time these last few months. This year, we would like to offer her some cheer and help her to begin to replenish her lost items from the flood by insisting that she be the beneficiary of the hostess rewards from this year’s party. Let’s make this the best party yet – we will not only be benefiting our chosen charity but also helping out a great friend!

Although the event is on August 30^th, we will be placing the Close to My Heart order on September 1^st so that we can purchase the September Stamp of the Month (in our opinion, it is much nicer than August’s Stamp of the Month).

I am leaving on a jet-plane in a few hours to go and cuddle that brand-new nephew of mine - stay tuned for more photos! We will also be partying with my family next weekend as my brother is getting married - lots to celebrate!
