Unexpected places

It's Friday and time for Friends with Flair at Unity! I have been having so much fun with my Unity this past while, I can hardly choose what to share!

I have a "thing" for maps, so when I saw this stamp combined with this fabulous Robin Williams quote, "No matter what people tell you words and ideas can change THE WORLD," I just had to have it!

I had fun with the background here. I was trying to achieve a bit of a water look by laying down distress stains/markers and spritzing, then laying my paper down on top to transfer the ink to it. Hmm, I think you call this smooching?
Such fun!

I would also like to share at City Crafter Challenge blog today where they are looking for inky projects using one or more of:
Smooching
Stencilling
Splattering
Sponging

I would love to know what you think of the result! Thanks for visiting!

Shanna :)

What I used:
Unity - "Love Brings you home"
Tim Holtz Distress stain
washi
paper from scrap bin
