Live the life you've imagined

Happy Saturday!

I've had some fun playing with my washi tape and my Starbuck's corrugated cardboard sleeves again! I saw the idea to use washi tape to make a banner or bunting over at Love my tapes a little bit ago and just had to try it out. Throw in some fab Tim Holtz stamps and voila - here is the result.

I would like to share at the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - corners
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
and
The Sweet Stop - a fab sketch - I may have strayed slightly but I love this sketch and will definitely be using it again!

Well, we were supposed to ski today.....the temp is currently -26 and reads -36 with the wind chill! Hmmm, unless is warms up significantly, I don't think we will be hitting the slopes!

Have a fabulous weekend!
Shanna :)

What I used:
papers: Basic Grey
stamps: Tim Holtz & MME "laundry line" (bracket)
washi tape - MME (I think)
Starbuck's corrugated cardboard sleeves
MME baker's twine

  1. Oh this is awesome!!! I have only used Washi tape once or twice since Christmas. My husband bought me several rolls for my stocking. Thanks for the inspiration to pull them out this weekend!

    Love this card!

Hope the weather warms up for you to ski! It's finally about 8C here in Calgary and it's a sloppy mess! LOL!

  2. HaHa you made me go and pull my Starbuck's sleeve out of the trash! I really don't like buying things I can recycle from elsewhere. Great card: I love that stamp and what you did with the cardboard!!

  3. Before I even saw that you had used the sketch from The Sweet Stop, I could see the sketch from The Sweet Stop, so I don't think you're that off piste. But girl, you are on fire. We're you sitting waiting for the sketch at your desk?! Anyway, love, love, love. And rambling aside, I really like how you've used the sketch too. Have a great weekend Bananananana. Nice to see you at The Sweet Stop too. Phew, stop talking Fluffie. xx
