I had so much fun with this challenge! Isn't Little Nibbler just adorable??? It was fun to incorporate some "school supplies" into the design given the theme this week. I am always collecting fun supplies, but don't get around to using them as often as I should. I'm sure I'm not alone in this though...smile....
The patterned paper was simply a scrap from the big ol bin o' scraps. I admit that I struggled at first with this as I thought the pencil should be the "traditional" yellow - when I let go of that, it went along just fine, especially after I glanced at my "New Moon" pencil holder on my desk (thanks Danderella!) and noticed that my pencils are either blue or red - not a yellow one to be found!
I was so please to find a white rub-on that fit here as I was going for the "blackboard" look.
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! I am heading for the boarder for a few days of fun with the girls - hoping to have lots to share when I'm back!!! Quilt shops and scrap stores here we come!!! Of course, we have lots of fun in Target and Bath & Body as well!
