Hello, thanks for stopping by! This week's challenge at Paper Sundaes is to Make your own flowers! Lily of the Valley is our sponsor this week, so I was able to use one of my brand-spankin new stamps that I ordered a few weeks ago - k maybe it was more like two months ago - but I finally had a perfect excuse to play! This little bunny was one of the first stamps I ever saw from this company - they have so many adorable images and lots of cute little boys stamps too!
I used Mojo Monday sketch #146 for this one. For my flower, I simply sewed along one edge of my ribbon, pulled snug and tied it off. I had seen lots of bloggers doing this, but had not gotten around to trying it out until now. That is the beauty of challenges right?!
I tried another new technique on this one - see how my balloon "falls off" the nestie? I'm sure you've all seen it and done it, but I hadn't until now. Lucky me, I mentioned it to Danderella when she was over last weekend and she said, "Hey I know how to do that" and proceeded to show me - it was easier than I expected and I will defnitely be doing it again as I love the result.
I would like to enter my card into the challenge at KLSNS which is Ribbon this week.
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
Cheers,
Shanna :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! That rabbit is sooo cute and you have coloured him/her in brilliantly. So, how did you do the balloon? I have done similar by cutting out a second image and layering it over the first but i have no idea if this is right. How have you done that one?
ReplyDeleteAnyway off to bed for me now as i have the start of the summer vacation to deal with starting tomorow about 7am so i need to regain mental strength through unconciousness (i can never spell that!)
