I used Mojo Monday sketch #146 for this one. For my flower, I simply sewed along one edge of my ribbon, pulled snug and tied it off. I had seen lots of bloggers doing this, but had not gotten around to trying it out until now. That is the beauty of challenges right?!I tried another new technique on this one - see how my balloon "falls off" the nestie? I'm sure you've all seen it and done it, but I hadn't until now. Lucky me, I mentioned it to Danderella when she was over last weekend and she said, "Hey I know how to do that" and proceeded to show me - it was easier than I expected and I will defnitely be doing it again as I love the result.
I would like to enter my card into the challenge at KLSNS which is Ribbon this week.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! That rabbit is sooo cute and you have coloured him/her in brilliantly. So, how did you do the balloon? I have done similar by cutting out a second image and layering it over the first but i have no idea if this is right. How have you done that one?
