Dance like no one is watching

Anyone still there?

So once again, life took over and the blog took the back burner. Oh well, lots of good stuff, just not much crafty time. So, I have decided to do some "catch up" posts meaning that the next few will feature projects that were completed some time ago and I didn't get around to posting for some reason. Hoping that visiting blog land more often will get me inspired once I start to find more time to spend in my "happy place" - maybe between ski season and hiking season? However, the way the weather is now - going down to -27 C tonight - ski season looks to be lasting several weeks longer! Getting good use out of our season passes this year I guess - though we have had a few weekends that we didn't ski hardly at all due to extreme cold weather.

This first is my girlfriend's birthday card (from October) which if I recall correctly, didn't get posted initially because I didn't want her to see it before her birthday, but then got "lost" in the pre-Christmas crafting frenzy shuffle!

Since I made it so long ago, I am not going to try to list everything I used. I can tell you though that a good portion of the MANY stamps that I layered onto this card are from Tim Holtz. The butterfly is Stamping Bella and the sentiment is a rub-on that I have had forever and was saving for a special project. Donna and I LOVE a good night of dancing - it doesn't happen often, but every once in awhile, we get tickets to a shag and dance the night away (and we generally disregard anyone watching since we are there to have FUN!). Hence the sentiment! There is also some washi tape on there of course!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are staying warm wherever you are,
Shanna :)
