Gift card Birthday

This is the card I made for my 3 year old "nephew". I was in Target one day with his Mom, Donna and we were admiring all the cute and fun gift cards. When I saw this one, I thought - gee I think I could turn that into a fun card for TJ, who loves monster trucks! I admit I had to keep it simple as I was plain running out of time, but I quite like it. I let the gift card do all the work!

I would like to share at:
Seize the Birthday - optional topping is Washi tape

Thanks for your visit!

What I used:
Target gift card
CTMH cardstock: holiday red, sunny yellow, sunset

The Great Outdoors

A smash page I did some time ago. Smashing is so much fun, but I often don't get around to photographing and sharing.

Hope you are having a great week!

a song just for you

Here is a birthday card I sent to my friend Stephanie recently. The embossed "sentiment" was so hard to photograph!

Here is the inside of the card. (Love this tree!!!)

And here is a shot of the envelope and the bookmark I sent with the card. Stephanie is a fellow Twilight fan. :)

Have a fabulous day!

Merry Christmas

Good morning!
I have one more card for the fabulous PINK challenge over at Jingle Belles where they are working to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer! (Please scroll down to my last post for details - you have one more day to play along!) Oh, and don't forget to check out the fabulous cards that have been linked up - this one in particular caught my eye -  at Colouring Outside the Lines - genius use of a pink awareness ribbon as a tree topper - gorgeous!!!

I played once again with a former Freshly Made sketch that is one of my faves, especially for playing with fun patterned papers like these adorable snowmen from Crate Paper's "Snow Day" line.
Here is the inside...

This card is also for:
Merry Monday - non-traditional colours
Sweet Stampin' Christmas - snowflakes
and
Christmas Card challenges - inspiration photo

Have a great day!

Merry

Hooray, I have another PINK card to share for the challenge at Jingle Belles

Please read on for details from Lauren:

once again this year, stephanie and i are each donating $2 for every card linked to this prompt at ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ and we're hoping to reach our highest total yet, so if you have a few minutes, why not start thinking about xmas cards and help support an awesome cause? all we ask is that you make a new holiday card (or two... or ten?) with some noticeable pink on it, link it to the pink christmas post and spread the word. we've made the latter as easy for you as possible, by creating a cool pink challenge graphic* and composing a paste-able blurb that you're welcome to use on your own blog:

The "Pink Christmas" prompt will run at JINGLE BELLES from 12am on Friday, October 10th to 6pm on Wednesday, October 22nd; as in previous years, Stephanie and Lauren pledge to donate $4 per linked-up card to The Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The only requirement is that all link-ups be NEW holiday cards with some noticeable pink on them... so in other words, not just Rudolph's NOSE, lol!

Participants may use sketches, combine challenges, and include any other colors in addition to pink; you can showcase however many cards you'd like in one post, don't worry, we'll still count every single one of them towards the total!

So, common folks, pull out the pink stash and get creating for a great cause!

Here is the inside of my card:

Snowflake Dream

In my last post, I mentioned that the current challenge at Jingle Belles is to make a PINK Christmas card, or a card that incorporates the colour pink. I have a couple more on the go, but here is my first one...

This is to raise awareness (and funds) for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. As Lauren explains...

Hope your Thanksgiving is stuffed with happiness!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! Hope you enjoyed your long weekend!

I managed to find some time in my scrap space yesterday when all the men of my house cleared out for a few hours - bliss!!! I had been itching to make something with a fall feel and had come across this yet un-inked CTMH stamp set just the other day, so I decided to get inky with the fall colours.

I had also been looking forward to using my new "Mingle All the Way" stamp set from Stampin' Up. I thought if I started with Thanksgiving, I could then just work my way through all the holidays covered in the set!

I would like to share my card at:

Little Red Wagon - Giving Thanks
and Shopping Our Stash - fall colours

Next, I plan to make a card for the current challenge at Jingle Belles. The prompt is Pink Christmas - here is the explanation:

Yes, once again, in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are celebrating ♥PINK CHRISTMAS♥! What does that mean? Well, we'd like to see holiday cards with a noticeable bit of pink on them, and for every card you guys link up, Stephanie andLauren are each donating $2 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation!

Such a fun challenge and for such a wonderful cause! Way to raise awarenes ladies!!!
Thanks so much for visiting and cheering me on as I continue to search for my mojo!

Shanna :)
