Hello Autumn

Ahh, fall! My most favourite season but also my very busiest at work. Lots of roadtrips to cover the region before the snow flies. Still, I try my very best to enjoy it.

Crisp mornings  (sometimes afternoons too) and blazing colour.

Winding trails and tracks to follow.

Fall selfies and vests! I love vest weather!

Sunflowers - how I love them! When the first heavy frost was forecast a couple weeks ago, I ran out and cut the tops off several of my sunflowers so I could enjoy them inside lest the frost get them. That huge blue vase is too big for so many flowers, but holds sunflowers perfectly! So happy I planted some under the eaves in front of my kitchen window. They look beautiful still as they are protected there.

I am itching to get crafty, but find myself lacking in time and somedays, motivation. Soon...my supplies are calling me. I hope to be back with some crafty stuff, soon, maybe, hopefully...

Until then, enjoy all the season has to offer.

Summer Smash - Do NOT try this at home

Well, I found one more page from last summer's SMASH book that I meant to post while I was away this summer, but it got missed. So, since it is just sitting there in my unpublished pile, I thought I might as well post it.

The first page is my brother's picture riddles - my youngest sons loves these. As he scribbled away on a napkin one evening, I said STOP and shoved my SMASH book his way. That's what I love about the SMASH book, you can totally just get it in there without the fuss!
Can you figure out any of his riddle? It has to do with ordering a sub...

This second page is simply proof that I managed to get up on water skis last summer. (My eldest is also in this one - he loves to water ski!) So FUN!!! I did get up once this year, but also spent some time bouncing around on the double tube with my boys!

Thanks for stopping by and for all your lovely comments on my last post, my one layer Christmas card.

Christmas Wishes

I created this card back in May after seeing this card on Patti's blog (Stationary Styles). I have been meaning to create a flat and mailable holiday version ever since and I am happy to say that I finally got around to it! Here it is:

This one was really fun and I plan to "beef up" my Christmas card stash by repeating this design several times.
Here is the inside, I couldn't help but add one of the other polar bears from CTMH's "Polar Bear Holiday".

I managed to incorporate three challenges for today's card!

I would like to share at the following challenges:

Heart 2 Heart - use your fave stamp set from CTMH
Well, I have many faves, but "Honeycomb" has to be one of my most versatile faves!
Thanks Donna for introducing me to this challenge!

Merry Monday - use some form of transportation (I think bareback riding and sledding count!)

Christmas Card Challenges - think skinny - my interpretation was to make a skinny/mailable card that won't cost extra in the postage department

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Make it Merry

Well, it's high time I returned to blogland! My summer was fabulous but wow, did it ever fly by!

I learned this fabulous starburst technique from Donna a couple months back and can't get enough of it. I used a new CTMH stamp and the coordinating cricut cut for my sentiment. I LOVE this sentiment. You will see this one again for sure!

I may be just in time to enter at Christmas Card Challenges - anything goes challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
