You colour my world

Hello!
I've been playing with my Distress markers again! So much fun!

I would like to share at Inkspirational - here is the photo prompt:

While my "smooshing" mimics the reflective surface, I didn't go too literal. I went with what happens after what we see in the photo. :)

I would also like to share at Shopping Our Stash - they are looking for cards meant for men or young men. While these are not decidedly masculine, they are at minimum neutral - what do you think? While working on building the stash, I had created a few in a similar fashion (the background part at least) with distress markers, but had been using pastel colours. This time around, I was trying for something that would be more suitable for male recipients. They certainly were fun to play around with.

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Easter!

I was very intrigued by the fun sketch at CAS(E) this sketch and wanted to give it a try. When I came across this chocolate wrapper that I had saved last year thinking it would be fun to use, I decided to give it a go with this sketch.

I always love playing with washi tape! I'm not sure that I love it, what do you think? It was a bit tough to photograph because of the reflective quality of the bunny!

I would like to share at:

Celebrate 14!

This card felt like cheating! I had come across this cool skier graphic in a Brochure when I was visiting Whistler and knew I wanted to use it for my eldest son's Birthday card. I can't believe he is 14!
So because the graphic was so large, I simply made it the focal point of the card. I did stamp the sentiment and of course, the inside.

I would like to share at Seize the Birthday - the topping is water - my water is frozen, lol!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Easter!
Shanna :)

What I used:
upcycled graphic from a handbook I picked up in Whistler
sentiments - CTMH

Hey Foxy

I came across this stamp set way back in February while trying to figure out what to use for Hubby's Valentine's card. Just had to use this adorable fox on something. I decided to go ahead and make his Anniversary card and our Anniversary isn't until July, go me!

A peek at the inside:

I would like to share at:

Make My Monday Challenge Blog where the theme is to use something fluffy
and
The Paper Players - Celebrate Spring - we tend to think chicks and bunnies in spring, but why not a fox - fox babies are born in spring too! :)
Hope you are having a fantastic day!

Wish

I have been super busy, so the stash was super low! Here is where I started at trying to build it up again. It began without embellishments - then I decided to pull out the sequins, my latest crush!
Hmmm, what do you think? To fit with the Less is More challenge, I should keep my embellishment to a minimum, but I think I like the sequins...

I would like to share at: Less is More where the current challenge is One Layer - with the focus on the sentiment
and
Seize the Birthday - I chose not to use toppings this time

Thanks so much for visiting!

stamp - Unity "Candles and Cake"
