Happy Monday!
It feels like a long time since I've made, and posted, a holiday card. Time to get my groove on again in the Christmas department!
I have had three of these images from the back of my Christmas postage stamps hanging about on my desk since Christmas. They are so whimsical, I just could not throw them away. I was sure I would use them somehow, perhaps in a Smash book, so I saved them and here we are.
I was able to play along with a few challenges:
Jingle Belles - shake it Santa Baby - use and image of Santa or make a shaker card or both
Winter Wonderland - Santa Claus is coming to town
Tis' the Season - inspiration photo
Christmas Card Challenges - anything goes
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Shanna :)
What I used:
graphic from the back of a package of 2014 Canadian Christmas postage stamps
leftover die cut from the stash pile
sequins, washi tape
paper: Kaiser Craft - "Tis the Season" 6x6 collection

ReplyDeleteI bow down to you, "saver of cool stuff to use later in something"! Kudos to finding such an awesome way to use recycled material! Great card! I love the layers, the bow, the bling of sequins, and the washi! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI bow down as well...how you think of these things is amazing. This really is the most fabulous use of a saved item I've seen in forever! You are my craft guru...the reason I started...and this card exemplifies why. Just love it.
