Wish

I have been super busy, so the stash was super low! Here is where I started at trying to build it up again. It began without embellishments - then I decided to pull out the sequins, my latest crush!
Hmmm, what do you think? To fit with the Less is More challenge, I should keep my embellishment to a minimum, but I think I like the sequins...

I would like to share at: Less is More where the current challenge is One Layer - with the focus on the sentiment
and
Seize the Birthday - I chose not to use toppings this time

Thanks so much for visiting!
Shanna

What I used:
stamp - Unity "Candles and Cake"
Tim Holtz Distress markers - dusty concord, mustard seed, broken china and worn lipstick
CTMH craft mat
water sprtizer
generic sequins

  1. Oh, this is fab! Love the sentiment, love your DI splatters - and I must admit, despite having come over here from LIM, I love the sequins too! Shhhh, don't tell anyone what a bad CAS-er I am! Great entry :)

  2. Your sequins are like frosting on this beautiful cake! Very colorful background for the perfect sentiment!

  3. Super splatters behind your sentiment, what a fab card. Maybe a few more sequins than there should be for a one layer, but I can see why you added them :)
Thank you so much for joining us at "Less is More" this week

  7. Hmmmmm....both cards are tremendous! I am totally inspired by your colorful background and will need to try my hand at it. The sequins add a bit of whimsy and lightheartedness.
(24 cm of SNOW!!! WOW, that is a lot of snow to play in. I hope you are able to take full advantage of it and still have time to be creative! It looks like spring is herein VA! Our trees are budding and blossoming and the daffodils are glorious.)

  12. sequins are ♥ALWAYS♥ a good idea, imo!!! (but then CAS is a foreign language to me, so there's that, lol!) (& in fairness, this card really was perfectly awesome in the first non-sequinny incarnation!) ♥
