Gift card Birthday

This is the card I made for my 3 year old "nephew". I was in Target one day with his Mom, Donna and we were admiring all the cute and fun gift cards. When I saw this one, I thought - gee I think I could turn that into a fun card for TJ, who loves monster trucks! I admit I had to keep it simple as I was plain running out of time, but I quite like it. I let the gift card do all the work!

I would like to share at:
Seize the Birthday - optional topping is Washi tape

Thanks for your visit!
Shanna :)

What I used:
Target gift card
CTMH cardstock: holiday red, sunny yellow, sunset
SU embossing folder
CTMH sentiments from: Happy Birthday & You are My Happy
washi tape from my stash

  1. This card is fabulous! I love how you made the gift card just pop by adding 3 mats and a little extra on the top and bottom.

The washi tape on the inside is absolutely perfect.

I will carefully remove the $5 gift card...use it and return it to it's rightful spot.

This card totally fit in with the theme of his gifts this year...cars, monster trucks & gift cards for clothes.
