This week's challenge at Paper Sundaes is Distressing. Our sponsor this week is Jenny from Paper Jewels. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the Christmas stamps from the Mimosa collection and add a few more Christmas cards to my stash. The sketch this week from Friday Sketchers was perfect, so I just had to play along. I enjoyed coloring Mimo with my copics and also added some stitching as I thought this card needed something around the outside edge. I am entering this in the Crafty Creations Challenge this week where they want to see stitching on your card.
I have distressed most of the edges on my card using CTMH's edges distresser. This is such a fun tool to play with and because I used textured CS from CTMH, the white core shows through, which I think is so fun.
Well, the boys and I are heading out to a "Winter Carnival" at a local community centre. It is an annual event that my boys really enjoy. Their favorite part is usually the jello eating contest and the penny auction. They also have an old-fashioned fish pond which is a big hit. Should be a fun afternoon!
