Altered mint tin

Goodness, it's about time I posted something!!! Life has been busy - getting ready for back to school, organizing after-school activities, another weekend at the lake (packing & unpacking = yuck)....

Anyhooo, here is the little tin I decorated to go with Danderella's daughter's bday gift. Since they were heading across the border for a girl's weekend and shopping trip, we gave her some spending $ in lieu of a gift.

You may recognize the card from my stash, but once my boys chose which card they wanted to give, I had to make the tin to match! And I do love this paper line! I love how it turned out. I'll have to keep my eyes open for these - the mints inside were super yummy - chai flavoured - and really I didn't mind eating them so that we would have an empty tin to decorate! lol I do wish I'd taken a before and after shot, oh well!

I am going to share this over at Cupcake Craft Challenges where the challenge this week is "Alter it" - I think maybe my project fits. :)

Best run, I've lots to prepare for our Charity Stamping Pyjama Party next weekend......which means you should be seeing more posts from me if the mojo shows up soon!!!

Shan :)
