Happy Birthday Papa!

Happy New Year!

We've had a busy day tidying, taking down the Christmas tree (the real one at least) and cleaning out the garage, so not much time for crafting. Luckily, I have a card to share that I made a few days ago. I needed to put together a card fairly quickly as I wanted to send it home with my Mom for my Papa whose Birthday is on January 5th, but they were celebrating it today when the family got together for New Year's at my Mom's. Luckily, I had this image that I colored eons ago when I got my first copics! I found some cardstock that worked with the colors, and voila a quickie card! Sorry for the poor photo quality, I had to take it in the middle of the night with really crumby lighting. The polka dot ribbon (which I LOVE) is from Love Elsie (same one I used on my last card) - I had it out and it worked with this perfectly, though the colors look off in the photo.
Thanks to all of you who take the time to comment, I love hearing what you have to say! I must admit that when I first found out what a blog was and visited a few, I told my good friend, Danderella, "Oh, I'll never do that!" I'll visit others blogs, but I'll never make my own. But, here I am having a blast! I had no idea it could be so much fun! I so enjoy sharing my creations and hearing all your feedback. I look forward to sharing & visiting and being inspired even more in 2010! Happy New Year!
Hugs,
Shanna :)
