KLSNS Challenge - Dry embossing

Hi everyone!
I am back from my road trip and happy it's Friday! TGIF!

I had this post almost ready to go, but forgot to schedule it to post while I was away, oh well. Hope I'm not too late as I made this card for the challenge over at KLSNS - dry embossing. It has been awhile since I've been able to play along.

This is another quick and simple card. I always struggle with sympathy cards, and this seemed to work, so I went with it. This is one of the embossing templates I've had for months, but not yet had a chance to use. This challenge gave me the perfect excuse to play. I made a few extra of these to have in my stash.

This is the inside, simple, but finished.
And, I decided to make a couple of thank you's as well.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Shanna :)
What I used:
stamps: Stampendous - Encouraging Words and CTMH - Kanji phrases
papers: CTMH - sweet leaf, black and topiary
emb: black CTMH ribbon, button

  7. ooooh! Great cards Banana! The simplicity of the design and the muted colours are perfect for a sympathy card, not too drab and not too loud. Really elegant too.
