Thanks for stopping by! The challenge this week at Paper Sundaes is to make a mulit-fold card with an Easter Theme. There are so many fun versions of multi-fold cards out there - don't forget to visit the rest of the DT and check out the fantastic cards they've made! My contribution this week is a "match book" card, or actually two. My mojo sort of took a hike this past week, so I struggled a bit to get this one together and ended up making two, so I'm sharing both. Once again, I had trouble with my sentiment. I stamped it on the random stamped (tone on tone) background, but I wish it had shown up better, oh well. Let me know what you think....
Here is a close-up of the cutie patootie on my first card. I have had this Stampendous set forever and it had not seen ink. Well, I fixed that! How adorable are those bunny ears?! The set comes with numerous "hats" for the little one to wear along with some sentiments/words.
Here is my second card, this time using an image from Imaginsce for the focal point.
I was loving it until I got it all glued together and then decided the blue that I "pulled" in from the bit of blue in the patterned paper was a bit much in the ribbon. Oh well, what ya gonna do?
I am entering these in the challenge over at Sew Many Challenges, where they are looking for an Easter card. My second card also qualifies for the challenge over at Aimee's Challenge blog - Things with wings. I just discovered this blog, Aimee is a five-year old and she comes up with the challenges. They encourage children to play too!
Sure hope you can play along this week - we have a super cute Sugar Nellie stamp (Peek a Bunny) for the winner!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Shanna :)
